Renovation is complete!

Theta Lambda has had 15 years ownership in their house on the beautiful Blanco River. Having been through two floods and many brothers, our house remains the best Fraternity house at Texas State. That said, The Housing Corporation (HC) decided it was time to renovate. The main purpose of the renovation was to provide privacy to the brothers’ living quarters. We improved saftey standards in the house with new electrical switches, motion activated lighting, emergency exit signs and diagrams, fire alarm systems, fire extingushers, and updated smoke detectors. We sectioned off one side of the house, completing our goal of isolating the living quarters from the chapter room.

The additional structure you see by the deck is what we are calling the multi-use facility (aka MUF), a facility where brothers can socialize and not use the main house for the same purpose. We also need to confirm with the chapter the extra reoccurring costs it will take to keep up this structure (insurance, repairs, etc.).

We need the help of as many alumni as possible. With your donation, your name will be displayed on a very nice granite display. The granite brick will be 7"x 8" and this will be put into the ALUMNI WALL of LEGENDS which will be the center piece to the alumni covered patio which will have flagstone floors outside.

Minimum donation is $500 for a single name on the marble, but do not be shy because we have had a handful of bros donate $2000 each already (see donations link above), so thank you! Please stay tuned to our website for progress reports.
